The Digital Media Studies Co-op (DMSC) program (Advanced Diploma) provides an academic pathway for international and resident students whose first language is not English while gaining work experience in the field of digital media. On completion of the program, students can progress onto further academic options or follow a career path in digital media.
The 16-month DMSC (Advanced Diploma) program is comprised of 8 digital media-related courses and an 8-month co-op term in the industry. The program explores the relationship between digital media and information technology as well as new media design.
Over the duration of the program, students learn the fundamentals of prototyping, collaborative design, team building, project management, critical thinking skills, pitching and presentation skills. Students also attend visual design and VR workshops.
DMSC provides language, academic and portfolio upgrades to students wanting to gain skills to transition into careers in digital media.
