Pacific Link College is searching for Student Assistance Officer who will assist out international students coming from Vietnam to study in our Institution and acting as a liaison between the College and the students.

Pacific Link College is inviting all qualified individuals to submit their application for the position of Student Assistance Officer. 

  • Duties and Responsibilities
    • Carry out administrative activities associated with admissions to Pacific Link College
    • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests
    • Analyse and oversee administrative operations related o recruitment and admissions of students from Vietnam
    • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports manuals and correspondence
    • Reply to general inquires and requests for information with respect to studying in Canada at Pacific Link College
    • Answer inquires from students
    • Track prospective students from query points to retaining company services
    • Act as a liaison between school and prospective students by communicating information
    • Assist new students with their admission processes
    • Coordinate services such as airport pick up and accommodation for students
    • Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling, tracking correspondence, contract procurement and administration, purchasing supplies, telecommunications, printing and translation
    • Coordinate with overseas contacts located in Vietnam
    • Provide administrative support for preparation of marketing materials and operating budgets
    • Maintain and efficient filing, indexing, and archiving system
    • Establish work priorities, coordination, monitoring and full ownership of administrative functions to ensure work is completed accurately and within specified times frames
    • Collec data and prepare reports
  • Employment requirements
    • Minimum Post-secondary diploma
    • No experience is required, but experience is an asset
    • Good oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with others, organization and planning skills
    • Attention to details and ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Organized, reliable, and effective interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
