Preparing for Arrival

  • Travelling to Canada?: Students need to ensure they have all the documents ready and have authorization to enter and remain in Canada. Learn how to prepare before travelling.
  • Living in Vancouver: Vancouver also known as Metro Vancouver is a very diverse and friendly city. Beautiful mountains, beaches, parks and scenic views surround this city making it one of the best destinations in BC.

After you Arrive

  • Apply for your Social Insurance Number (SIN): PLC encourages and supports students in getting jobs once they arrive. Social Insurance Number is required to work in Canada and receive government programs and benefits.
